Languages have always been a part of my life. Not just something I studied, but something I lived. Growing up in a multilingual and multicultural environment, I naturally switched between languages and became fascinated by how they shape communication and perception. This curiosity led me to keep expanding my linguistic skills throughout my life. I’ve spoken Portuguese, Spanish, and English at a native level since childhood, and over the years, I’ve also learned French and Italian (and I have plans to keep adding more languages to my repertoire!) Experiencing multiple languages both as a native speaker and as a learner has given me a unique perspective on localization, allowing me to understand not just the words, but the thought patterns behind them. This insight helps me adapt content in a way that feels natural, relevant, and engaging to diverse audiences.

I’ve worked directly in translation, subtitle, SDH, and audio description production, from scripting and originating to quality control and final adaptations. I understand the complexities and challenges of the entire workflow. I have been involved in every stage of the process, I know what it takes to collaborate seamlessly with writers and editors, and this ensures I maintain clear expectations between production and management. I have extensive experience handling multiple projects simultaneously and not letting them conflict with each other. My familiarity with platform-specific guidelines and strong technical expertise allow me to uphold the highest standards of accuracy and consistency when performing quality checks, making sure every deliverable not only meets client expectations but also aligns with industry standards.
