Hi! My name is Livia. Thanks for taking the time to visit my site.

I’m a multilingual Audiovisual Localization & Accessibility Producer currently based in Valencia, Spain, with a background in filmmaking and a passion for helping stories reach everyone.

Where I come from.

My work blends two things I’ve always loved: languages and film. Portuguese and Spanish are my native languages, and English is a language I have studied and used daily since I was four years old. Besides those, I also speak French and Italian on a conversational level.

Growing up surrounded by languages gave me a sharp eye for cultural nuance and rhythm, something that guides my approach whether I’m translating dialogue, adapting a script, or making an audiovisual experience accessible in any other way.

Where I've been.

Before specializing in localization, I studied filmmaking and worked on practically all production stages within creative projects: scripting, shooting, editing, and color grading amongst them. With a Bachelor’s Degree in Audiovisual Production, that technical and creative background continues to shape the way I think. Producing accessibility in a way that respects the creative vision of each project is the main goal of what I do.

Where I'm headed.

Over the course of three years, I’ve had the chance to bring over 15,000 minutes of localized and accessible content to screens worldwide (that’s about 150 individual projects), spanning movies and series for clients like Netflix, Prime Video, Paramount+, and Warner Bros. Discovery.

My professional development has involved everything from assistant positions, where I made sure to learn as much as I could, to, more recently, a Project Coordination role where I oversaw audio description workflows from start to finish, including task delegation, schedule planning, quality control, and final delivery.

The production stages are still my favorite parts of my job. I’ve had experience with subtitling, captioning, audio description scripting, video editing and MTPE. Currently, I’m focusing on translation and quality assessment & revision of several different types of content, but I remain actively pursuing training, education, and job opportunities to stay on top of the latest industry standards across all my skills.
